A happy and proseprous new year to all investors, not just with YOO, but all your portfolio.
Wise words from Karen in an earlier post, glad I had no spare cash to invest, as I too along with others would probably have got caught up with the LGB fiasco, so thanks to YOO, all my spare cash this year went here, and already that decision has helped bring my average down from 28p at the beginning of the year, to 18p by year end, so progress was made.
2006 I feel will be a year where the most patient of us, that have stuck with YOO, will start to see some reward, hats off to Neil Macdonald, who I think since his promotion, has made a real difference to the direction that YOO are going, deals with GALA and William Hill, what a great couple of JV's to have under the belt, you could not wish for better, we must also congratulate Mike Sinclair for the hard work he has done in the US this year, all holders will be pleased with the groundwork done now by year 2008, when the USA will be fully up to speed with iTV, nice to see inward investment from the US, as well as the partnership formed with ICTV, good things to come from this I feel.
Yoomedia really appears to be changing direction this year, and to that end, look what happened to Microsoft over time by mainly being an operating system provider with other software, that is exactly where Yoomedia now seem to be coming from, provide the platform, let other take the risk on the content, if Yoomedia can become the chosen platform provider for iTV operations, then this has to be a good change in direction when you see what has happened to Microsoft, Yoomedia IMHO really do have the potential to become the Microsoft of iTV, afterall, Microsoft is still worth billions, even with the likes of eBay in the internet market place, who basically hived off of the success of Microsoft in providing them with a platform to operate from, just like GALA and William Hill are now doing, how many others will be following suit ????, time will tell, but I think it will be many DYOR.
Glad to see you still around Gingermagician, I hope that Yoomedia from now until 2008 makes a big dent in your misfortune with LGB, I have a feeling it will, you were meant to invest here for a reason.
Again, best wishes to you all in 2006, and may it be a prosperous one, due to a new business venture I am involved with at the moment, I will not be posting as often as I did last year as I am going to have to do more work than I did last year, some of the shorting de-rampers will probably be glad of this, but rest assured to those that appreciate some of my posting, I will still post anything that I come across that needs to be shared.
Regards
Paul
