Before getting interested in AIM I had a nice little portfolio that produced a few thousand in income and gains most years. It's been expensive to learn, but I now know AIM is not about investment appraisal in the normal sense - it's more about psychology, I think.
Of course Langbar was a one-off. I don't mean there haven't been, and won't be, fraudulent companies, but getting an irreproachable figure to make an unequivocal announcement is unparallelled, to the best of my knowledge.
