Gary Lauder

Managing Partner

Gary Lauder is the Managing Partner of Lauder Partners, a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm investing in information technologies. During his 20 year career as a venture capitalist he has invested in more than 50 private companies.

Mr. Lauder currently serves as Chairman of ICTV Inc., a developer of interactive cable television technology. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Everstream, Broadband Innovations, Integra5 and ShotSpotter. In addition, he is a board member of The Exploratorium in San Francisco. Mr. Lauder is co-inventor of 9 patents, has spoken at over 60 industry forums and, since 1992, has published several articles about the future of the cable industry. His investments are primarily in cable television technology and WWW arenas. He previously worked at the venture firms of Aetna, Jacobs & Ramo Technology Ventures, as well as Wolfensohn Associates.

Mr. Lauder holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania; a BS in Economics from the Wharton School; and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He was named as one of the top 100 "builders of the information highway" by Upside Magazine.
