Plenty of newsflow to look forward to, early 2006. Here are a few possibilites, others may be able to add to this preliminary list of likely RNS announcements.
1. Dateline disposal news. Rumours are the board have recieved many offers and are considering all options, including a full flotation. Recently, a French owned dating business, with similar revenues, was valued at around 80m, at the preliminary flotation stage.
2. New Broker Reserch note, to be issued in New Year.
3. A possible, long term contract with NTL, to deliver Yoomedia's/ICTV's 'Broadband TV' technology, to all of NTL's, recently enlarged viewing audience. The recent 'live trials' have apparently been very successful.
4. Strong rumours persist of a huge Joint Venture in the U.S.A, which is rumoured to be likely to propel the SP northwards of 13p, once and for all. Mr Sinclair has spent much time in America this year and has many important business contacts over there. If the rumours are accurate, Yoomedia will become a major global player. I've heard suggestions from certain quarters, that news concerning the JV, may be released as early as sometime in Janurary. Watch this space!
No doubt the management are actively engaged in other contract talks, as proved by Friday's big AVAGO news.
I certainly am very long on Yoomedia right now and will be adding in the early New Year, as soon as funds are available. I just pray the share price will remain at these levels for just a few more days, so I can buy at these levels.
