If the Company were to change its name, woud it simply abandon its old website?? or would it ensure that it re-directed its traffic to a new one??

The domain name expired on 24th December and the idiots didnt renew it in time. Probably an error due to the usual reminders being sent to an out of date contact, so it didnt get picked up.
Ive seen this many times, companies tend to be reactive and when you are not proactive, you leave yourself open to embarrasing cock ups like this happening.
Their PR will have their work cut out tomorrow no doubt, I have already emailed them, and i suggest anyone who feels annoyed by this cock up does the same.
