Davepower - I made the same mistake as you, but with the
Japanese market. Having bought it when the Nikkei was 8000,
I sold when it was 13000. (It hit 16000 this week!)
As for YAU, I was lucky enough to buy just over a year ago
at 130p. I've been amazed by the rise, but there are now
predictions of Gold at $650 - some even say a super-spike up
to $1000. At that point we would surely see a crash.
YAU's t/o of RNC looks like excellent news, and production will
probably more than treble in the next couple of years! Factoring
this into the sp is no easy task, especially as costs are
due to fall dramatically from $250/oz to $100/oz.
I agree re the US$, also. Interest rates will keep the $
weaker from sometime soon ...
YAU' potential is thus astonishing.
