the other thing to consider with Liffe vs spreadbet is potential costs of early exercise of stock against you (i know on paper being exercised is not a problem, but you rarely benefit after ALL costs are taken into account), as with spreadbets you have no exercise of stock.
guess it depends on ones own circumstances.
i seem to remember RobinT and tilton use spreadbets.
