World Television
Hi fozdad,
Re : Kamera...just a few comments..
WTV did (NOT) sell-off the whole of the Kamera business..WTV only sold-off the part of the business that was involved with : "converting broadcast news content into a digital format capable of being distributed by mobile network operators over their 3G network."
The Bulk of "what was" the Kamera business has been rolled up to form (WTV SWEDEN) and has since been integrated into the main World Television company.
So we have (NOT)lost all of the "turnover" from what was our-Kamera..as we moved into the 2nd half of 2005..just some of it.In the 2nd half of 2005..WTV will "continue" to get the Bulk of the turnover from the (previous-Kamera) business through the newly formed WTV-Sweden.
In addition (WTV) will receive 22.5% of the Kamera "turnover" for the 2nd half of 2005...without any costs...+ the same again for the 1st 6 months of 2006.
WTV through their Sweden office will continue to provide : Office Services..IT, Administration and Production services to the NEW Kamera business.
There is the possibilty of more cash for WTV...Kamera is now a customer of WTV..and presumably will have to pay for those services...(if not at the moment..as this might be part of the current deal)..however at some time in the in the future..Kamera may be become a "paying-customer".

Disposal RNS 30.05.05 :
"Announces the disposal of "certain assets" relating to its subsidiary Kamera Holding"
"World Television will continue to operate and invest in Sweden through its
wholly owned subsidiary World Television Sweden. That business remains part of
the Group's core operations."
"World Television will retain a 10 percent.interest in the SPV while continuing to provide office, IT, administration and production services."
"Kamera's principal activities include converting broadcast news content into a digital format capable of being distributed by mobile network operators over their 3G network."
"As part of the agreement World Television will retain a 10 percent.interest in
the SPV while continuing to provide office, IT, administration and production
services. World Television will also receive 22.5 per cent. of the gross income
generated during the year starting July 1 2005 to June 30 2006."

3P, re post 6144.
Good post, but I'm not sure I agree with your reasoning re Kamera.
The 1st half included the full sales contribution from Kamera (as far as we know) whereas the 2nd half will only include 22.5% of sales. Therefore, rather than adding an extra 22.5% of Kamera sales, the second half will include a reduction of 77.5% of Kamera turnover.
