Wittard of Chelsea - Going Blue all the way

Has anyone thought about the positive effect of the sales in all these clothing retailers?

Stores that are not desperate to have sales, like WOC, and that have been selling off just their Xmas specials and end of lines have been met by a deluge of shoppers looking for cheap clothing. The increased footfall may well have been very benefical to WOC and other retailers that are not caught out by haveing too much seasonal stock to shift.

We may see some diverse trading patterns from the Christmas trading statements which will make those that have done well look all the more impressive imo.
