I too sold VLX at 90p. I bought at 64p and made something like 40% in about a week I think. So I'm perfectly happy about it, and don't care that I could have made more. It's still on my monitor and I was surprised to see it jump yesterday. I could see no reason for it.

MMs certainly manipulate share prices Wes. They aim to frighten shareholders into selling at the bottom, then hold the price down and maybe whack in a big spread and a small NMS, looking for further sells as patience is exhausted. Then they hike the price up in a flash before people can get back in. I don't think they're trying to squeeze out traders. They're just trying to steal your money.
