WE CAN DO IT AGAIN !

Defensively , if this Vidic is as good as we hope , we are ok when Heinze gets back . To be fair , the loss of Heinze has been a huge blow this year . Player of the year last year after all .

Striker wise , Roon and Ruud are playing well together . Young Rossi will develop over the next couple years and Saha might actually earn his wages .
If there is some great striker out there we can get , great , but not personally that worried .
Rooney would be a great player in any club ... utterly brilliant .

Park has been playing well and he could settle in to be at least decent . Giggs is still a handful and Ron has had a bad personal few months so i would excuse him .
Again , if there is a great left-winger lurking out there then get him , but we are not so bad .

Which of course leaves the F`ing midfield .

Smith , Scholes , Fletcher . That is our first team squad of midfielders !

My real problem with Fletcher , apart from he is bloody useless , is that Fergie is convinced he has a World Class Midfielder in the making !!!
I mean , for Gods sake 8-(0) , give me a break !!!!

For as long as Fergie stays at United , Fletcher stays as a principal first team player .
So we are going out to play with 10 men and with little defensive cover in midfield , so if the defence gets stretched its not a surprise .

As for tactics !!!

Defensively we were stretched last night cos of injuries . The only thing he could have done is play Neville as a CB , but probably didnt because of the height thang .

Midfield 4 ... well where do you start !!

Remember we had a fit Giggs and Park on the bench ...

We started with

Scholes Fletcher Smith Ronaldo

For the first 20 minutes .
Scholes who has been knocking the ball around well last few gets to play left wing ! Richardson has no cover at left back .

For the second half of the first half Smithy got the chance to show his ability as a flying left winger with Scoles/Fletcher in centre , neither of whom can tackle .

For the second half Smith and Ronaldo swap , which was better and at least Smith was on his right foot .

Even though we needed a boost and Giggs /Park on , Fergie waited until the 83rd bloody minute to change anyone !! Too late to be worth the bother . I am reluctant to mention Giggsy coming on as a left-back !!

What the fook is Fergie playing at ?????
