Neville - Offered attacking options, set up Saha's second and lead well in typical hard working performance. 7
Brown - Unflappable performance at the heart of defence. 7
Silvestre - Solid showing against a relatively shot-shy Birmingham. 7
Richardson - Stuck out in thankless left back role again, looked ok but no major impact on game. 6
Ronaldo - Slightly brighter than in recent showings, but clearly still not at his best. 6
O'Shea - Good ball for the goal, looked comfortable in midfield role and displayed a neat range of passing. 7
Fletcher - Started well, faded as the first half went on, and didn't dominate midfield. 6
Park - Usual lively self, on the end of more than a few physical moments from Birmingham who clearly identified them as a threat - and with good reason. 8
Rossi - Started brightly, looked lively and hit a thunderous shot but ultimately didn't really impose himself on the game with any presence. 6
Saha - Looked sharper as the game went on, good shot in first half stoppage time, continued that form to grab opener at start of second and second was great stuff. 7

Rooney (for Rossi 45) - Seemed to inspire the team to two early second-half goals without making major contribution to the team. 6
Ferdinand (for Silvestre 60) - Little real influence other than a fitness boost for the Christmas fixtures. 6
