The next few weeks will tell. WH Smith might well be good value but you well know I think it will become even better value over the next few weeks.
* Margins have been squeezed
* Dividend uncertainty
* Distribution problems (I have read this somewhere not sure where)
* New management and impending executive job cuts
* Uncertainty over company direction in the short term.
The market is not going to like any of this and now it is xd there is little to really support the price. Market nerves often throw up great buying opportunities. I think this will be the case with SMWH. Lets wait and see. I will buy only after the impending profit warning and only at a much lower price. If it does rise to £3 as some think treat it as a great selling chance and buy at lower prices.
