Is half of Britain (and their dog) on this thread or what?
All the shorters (vultures) have come on board hoping to get a slice. Good news for us holders.
What a fantastic couple of days (from a selfish perspective)........
All focus on gas and potential shortages........Russia uses its new power to flex its muscles, giving VOG holders a few nervous moments.....Then backing down to reassure Western Europe that they can be relied on.
Things couldn't have gone better for us VOG holders. Serious contemplating topping up tomorrow before they race!
Everyone is watching this stock.
As for the games that Russia and Orange revolution Ukraine are playing with eachother...Well that's just games.
It would be like a pipe flowing to Western Europe from the UK via France. Sure we'd play a couple of games with France, but we wouldn't risk something that would increase all our wealth dramatically.
As far as Ukraine prices are concerned. Well, Romania pays Russia $280 and they are only slightly wealthier than Ukraine, although Ukraine GDP is growing at a healthier rate. Think they can easily cope with a rise to well beyond $100, especially seeing they get paid for the pipe itself.
2006 gonna be a mighty fine year for VOG. Bad for the general gas consumer though. Expecting 170p by next Friday and a breach of 200p before Feb.
