The Ukranians will just have to work a little harder to pay for the increase. Reckon they've got used to receiving a living under an economic system were subsidies are taken for granted. Wake up and smell the coffee Ukraine you'll just have to adjust to paying your way in the real world. Russia took the chair of the G8 on Sunday. Putin will do everything in his power to push forward the interests of the Russian economy and in that attempt he surely try and protect the infant relationship that is slowly developing between them and the EU/USA/China. They are included and not on the outside which can only bode well cos throughout history the Russians have always seen themselves as 'outsiders' and now they're coming in from the cold. Lets hope that process continues.
