VOG 2005 New Thread

Any guesses what this news is likely to do to the opening price tomorrow? My guess is that fear and the market makers will drive this lower. To me though it highlights that every cubic metre of gas in Russia is very valuable. a) it makes Gazprom lots of money and b) Europe is desperate for it.

I can see the mm's having a sleepless night over this one. There are probably buys in the system already after last week's close, some sells for profit takers and now this news. I bet they open on a very wide spread while they work out which way it's going to go.
