I can only reiterate yur views, overall Russia raising gas prices will be very positive for VOG holders, in fact if they raise the price as they wish to, upto 400%, of course that is positive for Victoria Oil Gas.

However a decrease in the Russian Gas price of 400% would have a very negative effect on the other hand, almost a no brainer IMHO.

Russia Now seeks to become a Major Energy Power House on a global scale, excellent coincidence with the WEst Med VOG finding I might add - shareholders delight.

Ex-yukos management obviously are mixing in the "circle of know", not some muppets, who have just turned up in russia with axes and sidekicks. (
Mr Foo and the rest of VOG management, know exactly what Russia intentions are and how they expect events to turn out. Increase in the gas prcie was not just decided last week or overnight.

Even if a compromise is agreed, (which it will as it's in Gazproms own interest), with the Ukraine, of a minimum of a 2 fold increase in the price of gas supplied, is excellent news for VOG, be it a one off increase or a "gradual increase" such as that in the UK and European countries.

Rememeber, UK gas price have increased almost every year but albeit over a gradual period, of 5- 7 years, thus companies like British Gas and others have seen their share price catapult, to current highs of 5.00+, and expected to go much higher...

My prediction for VOG In Jan 2006, as a result of recent events and announcements, The major find of 0.5Trillion- to a possible 2.5 trillion of gas as outlined by the Buddah - 17856, including the full 100% aquisition, over subscribed Institutional placement, further Director buys at £1.05, and a gradual Increase in Gas prices in Russia suggests to me that VOG's minimum sp will touch 2.50-3.00 within January, that confident I am.

All IMHO.

Of course "DYOR" as always and read the posts and RNS, not asking anyone to dive in to buy, but after so much uncertainty fuelled in November there is now great momentum to catapult VOG to this conservative level now, towards next major RNS in January/February.
