KIEV, December 30 (RIA Novosti) - The Ukrainian government is preparing a resolution on Russian gas deliveries to Ukraine before the signing of a corresponding contract between the Russian energy giant Gazprom and Ukraine's Naftogaz, the Ukrainian prime minister told a private radio station in Ukraine.

Yuriy Yekhanurov said under the resolution Russian gas would not be considered to be tapped in January in the event that a contract is not signed.
