I am genuinely amazed that he has said that without an official company statement in the public domain. On the 9/12, the company stated that the 'placing' had still to be finalised,there has been nothing specific since. I shall be sending them an email. In fact when I come to think of it, the Board is duty bound i.a.w. LSE rules, to make known any event that will materially effect the sp; this is undoubtedly one of them.
