Liarspoker - I never placed much hope for success at Tamdykol as it seemed marginal to the two much greater projects - Kemerkol and West Medvezyhe.
If there was no oil at Tamdykol, i too am at a loss as to why NEK (They themselves) would want to increase from a 4 well contract to a 10 well programme at their cost if there is no oil. I think Tamdykol sounds more promising now.
As it is at no development cost to VOG any income from even 4 - 500 barells of oil woould net them about $3 or so on a sharing arrangement ( i think it was something like that - 75%/25% split). Could be a further $500k - $1.5m (depending if domestic or export). Anything from Tamdykol is a bonus when it is not at any cost to us. I think the income if any would help to finance the other projects. Perhaps if 4 -5m barells at C1 was proved up they could sell the project off for $8- $10m. They paid $2/b roughly for C1/C2 at Kemerkol.
