Amities / From what i hear it is not the price of the placing that has neccassitated this delay which smacks of amateur PR -but rather the markets uncertainity of the scale of the placing combined with both "get rich" and" scare mongering" tactics .Also arisen as a matter is whether to keep the placing earmarked for those institutions who forked out an additional £ 5.6 million in October 2004 immediately following the lPO in July which was oversubscibed and successfully raised the required £10 million for the West Medvezhye acreage with ease. West Medvezhye will be a company maker . But every great company has a moment in its momentum which makes right the conditions and prerequisites for that "company maker " to become a realization . . . ...With a drilling platform slotted for early January to remove from the very shallow ( 900 ft ) PROVEN - YES ! PROVEN C1 reserves at Kemarol of 8.7 million barrels ( C2" @ 25 million barrels and C3 estimated @ 60 million bbls) coupled with contracts signed with Smiths in DEC to provide support services for this project does not give the usual impression of a company in trouble . Once the placing is made known by RNS the company will be measured by its merits as opposed to being used as late as a tool of MMs . From a trading vantage point you cannot be greedy with VOG . lts candlestick chart gives little away and illustrates perfectly that the market has NO idea of where the s/p is going . Best prospect is CFDS with high volume looking for a small percentile movement ,,,,,, l very rarely invest, and even then only in junior oil and gas companies and various mining outfits; and VOG is one i am prepared to ignore the percentages and play the odds ......Everyone knows thier financial position best , and as IANWAS suggests, sometimes it is best to keep your powder dry and make your move as more information finds itself into the public domain and s/p rises in response to that .
