:VODAFONE: Traders Thread, Long or Short!
Monty Burns - Thu, 22 Dec 05 :
Eric - Sold some at 124 and some at 124.75, bought yesterday - I'm buying and selling in £100p chunks, which actually isn't very much when you think of the underlying investment. Still have some bought at 125 and 127. Just taking the cash when it's there.
When a proper turn comes, I'll be in for a lot more, but can't leave it alone at these prices. Rebought the sales at 123 (on the way down) and 122.75. Really is very little risk at these prices, the main risk being in not having a high enough exposure when it rises properly.
cover - weren't you also prattling on ceaselessly on the Tesco thread a few weeks ago, then went awfully quiet when it rose above your entry point, you took a small profit and watched it rise a further 15-20p? Don't do the same thing here, it's just rotation games. BP also being quietly clobbered in the middle of this 'Santa rally.' It just happens, you (and I) need to be patient, and grab some short term cash when it's there.
