this unresolved 50Billion euro writdown worries me.
vod cleverly bought mannisman for nothing, just over priced shares shares.

then the even clever bit of writing down the profits by pretending that they made a loss on the original ficticious price.

this avoids actually paying cash (tax on profits) to the hard up german government.

they aint' falling for it. What is the worst case scenario on this one.?
10 Billion.?? anyone know.

i now realise why vod were shy about talking about this.
