A week or so ago I noticed that Gazprom acquired some gas field in Lincolnshire. Th price paid was around £200 million for 1 trillion cubic feet of gas. If we extrapolate that to the reserves VOG has acquired (but as yet unproven) of 4.8 trillion cubic feet then VOG should be worth £960 million multiplied by 75% (VOG's share of SGI). This is about £720 million. So even if only half the expected gas materialises VOG should be worth £360 million. Say 75 million shares in issue then the share price ought to be around £5 upon only half the anticipated reserves being proven.
