Agree with you - China will not reduce metal consumption at all.
They intervene in the markets to reduce its price and pick it up cheap -
They are on a track to overtake the US.
I have been to China several times and I understand what they want:
Export all western know-how by means of joint ventures to dominate
half of the world.
Energy wise - China will build more than 100 nuclear power stations in the next few years.
Cities are mushrooming with sky scrappers by the months.
Motorways are built so quickly that money has no limit.
China now holds 1 Trillion dollars of reserves and - increasing.
China will only stop when the US and the rest of the world are behind it.
