edit: I just spoke to Simon Hargreaves on his mobile to ask about these sales and there's nothing weird going on. This is about the only gap where they're not in a closed period and all three sales relate to the Share Incentive Scheme. All the shares found a planned new home and they weren't ditched on the market, so now they're clear, the price may even recover.

For the record, Simon was very quick, open and helpful in answering my query. A few more companies could take a lesson from him.
