Yes ..... looking back I can see you are right - totally forgotten they had issued two trading statements at the time. So it could be any day now .... just picked this up from the FT at the time


08.01.02 :+0.25, (27) of the update, FT say: "The market's failure to respond to such a strong trading statement reflects the lack of transparency in the intellectual property business, which is due to be demerged this summer. The demerger was announced in September after the company bought the rights to the literary works of Georges Simenon, the creator of Maigret, the French sleuth. Putting Simenon together with Christie and Enid Blyton has created an impressive portfolio, but the business is not easily analysed. Nevertheless, forecasts for last year remain at 13.5m (10.5m), and for the current year 17.4m is expected. That puts the shares - unchanged yesterday at 26.75p - on amultiple of less than 13. Given the growth prospects, the rating looks low, especially as the sum of the parts after the demerger is expected to be worth at least 35p a share."
