Posted this on the other thread yesterday.............

I think this latest piece in the jigsaw is VERY crucial! and I think well timed, URA has been a bit lonely up until this last few months, but we are starting to glow!! (sorry about the pun) private Investors AND Institutional Investors alike are starting to pick up stock rapidly in these under-valued Uranium stocks including URA, WHY?
Because the world is turning back toward nuclear energy as a more environmentally efficient/friendly form of energy for the future, raw-Uranium stocks are Incredibly tight, there simply is "not enough" to fill all the worlds needs, so we have the price of the raw material "Uranium surging upward"........Uranium started the year at $36.25 per lb and this week we hit $72.00 per lb next year experts predict OVER $100.00 per lb as production lags behind.

Taken from a recent clip...............
"There has also been a reported frenzy for acquiring new uranium projects, with exploration lease prices rising fivefold". so the present leases that URA hold are worth a fair bit, especially as the recent drill results from Tanzania show some VERY encouraging results with some high grades amongst them,

Taken from a recent article................
"planned or proposed new reactors world-wide had increased dramatically since May, with 251 new ones in construction or planning stages. In May, China planned 24 new reactors. By November that had risen to 63. Russia was up from nine to 26, the US from 13 to 23"

We have a shortage of Uranium because production was scaled back dramatically world-wide as nuclear power was frowned upon! now the world has realised that Nuclear Power does have an environmentally friendly use, better than gas or oil for our power stations, which can be produced with less damage than conventional methods upon the environment.

Uranium is I think a good sector to be in over the next few years.
URA are not producing, and at this stage we only have drill results albeit these do show some VERY encouraging results, we can not quantify at this stage just how this will be valued, simply because we do not yet have a clear picture of volume and overall quality, but what we do have are licences which are for properties in areas in Australia that are politically acceptable toward Uranium mining and these areas are known to host Uranium! couple that with the recent FIVE fold Increase in lease prices, a farm in partner, who carries most of the risk and a company valued at under £10m + around £2m+ cash in the bank and I think you have a low entry into what could be amongst next years great performers! always DYOR.

(market cap I have used + cash is to include the recent share issue-fund raising 15 Jan07 ie: extra 80m shares and approx £1.8m)

Also Hugh Warner has now spent £135,000.00 purchasing 5million shares in URA food for thought!!
