UrAsia Energy Ltd. ("the Company") announces that it was notified today that, on
December 29 2006, Frank Giustra a non-executive director of the Company gifted
600,000 common shares of the Company to a charitable organisation.
Following this transaction, Frank Giustra is interested in a total of 5,600,000
common shares representing approximately 1.17 per cent of the issued share
capital of the Company.
