On 20 November 2006, UraMin reported an update from SRK Consulting ("SRK"),
manager and lead consultant on the feasibility study for UraMin's 100% owned
Trekkopje project, which stated that good progress had been made on all work
elements conducive to UraMin's desire to fast track the project. 80% of the
mineralization at Trekkopje is shallower than 15 metres below surface and can be
mined using simple and cost effective open pit mining methods. Results from
both tank leach and heap leach test-work have been positive to date. SRK
anticipate the release of a detailed Interim Study on the Trekkopje Project in
January 2007 and completion of the feasibility study in the third quarter of
2007.
