The decision to slow down the store opening programme impacted on the Group's
financial results for the six months under review. Instead of pursuing our
roll-out programme of new franchisee stores at the rate set at the beginning of
2005, irrespective of market conditions, we switched our focus to addressing
those stores that were significantly under performing by introducing new
franchisees to run them. This has meant that we finished the first six months of
this financial year with 58 stores, three less than our initial target. Despite
this, we believe these actions will benefit the future performance of the Group.
Not allowing the rot to carry on,which one poster on here reported as being the case at his local store.
