It would be nice to think that all PLCs have decent healthy work policies in the work place but unfortunately they do not. Some such as Jarvis PLC do not even have ISO 9000 or 2000 let alone have an Investors in People standard.
Then their own investors wonder why they can not obtain a decent contract, especially when they do not have ISO standards or staff policies and the ones they do have are only based on lip service.
Personally the Investors in People Standard should all be part of HSE standards too, because it is the people on the ground that bring in the contracts from their own efforts and not the Directors.
