ULTRASIS - ONWARDS AND UPWARDS
The_Analyst - Thu, 21 Dec 06 :
ssoo1,
Thanks for taking time to provide answers to some of questiosn of last night.
If I may take you up on couple of your answers:
Firstly,
"My views on the company and its management have not changed at all. I am a little disappointed about the options explanation in the accounts after the email explanation I received from NB, but it's no big deal."
Surely it's a big deal if it makes you sell 2/3rd of your holding !!
Furthermore, you stated that you sold 2/3rd a few weeks back. Now NO ONE knew about the contents of the Finals report few weeks ago, so clearly your decision to sell was NOT based on the above. Was it a case of you spoke to someone at ULT and didn't like the sound of what you were told ?
Secondly:
"People who have doubts about an AIM company and/or its directors shouldn't hold shares in that company, very simple."
I disagree on that point. I have invested in an AIM stock because I like the product, I see the potential and I hope that the management can exploit the potential to deliver shareholder value....the very fundamentals of any investment. If I don't like the way things are progressing and I find many long term shareholders voicing similar concerns, then selling up should not necessarily be the only option. Shareholders own the comapany and can collectively influencce changes. Alas, we do not have the luxury of insti support (and why not ?). I will continue to exchange views, try to understand the complexities of the business and if considered necessary, will take up the issues with the management. I'll either get a better understanding or may be forced to sell up if the replies are not re-assuring. This is all part of the research one conducts in any investment. Sure, ultimately selling up may be forced upon me....but I am not near that point !
Finally,
"I'm not saying I'm right - the previous time I reduced my holdings when I expected bad interims I was wrong and of course I could be wrong again. But hey it's my money and I trade the way I see fit."
Thanks for a very candid comment.
Best of luck.
Regards
