Three scientists embark on an experiment to see what happens if they feed an elephant as much as possible for one month without letting it defecate. It had been decided that a cork be made the right size to fit the elephants anus.
The month was now up and the scientists realised they had overlooked one detail, how were they going to remove the cork?
Understandably none of the scientists wanted the job and after many hours of discussion, came up with a plan.
One of the scientists had heard of this chap from Wales called Mike, apparently he was an expert at fitting and removing things from holes, he had many years experience working with sheep.
After contacting Mike and the plan agreed, the team arranged themselves so that they could record the result.
The first scientist would stand 20' away and hide behind a shield, the second scientist stood 40' away and the third scientist stood 60' away.
When the signal was given, the cork was removed followed by the most enormous explosion.
The scientist 60' away picked himself up off the ground, combed his hair back in place, and went to see how his colleagues were.
Well he burst out laughing when he saw the second scientist 40' away, because he had shit up to his ankles.
They moved forward through the mess to find the scientist 20' away. They spotted him pinned against the wall by his shield with shit up to his waist. Now both scientists were laughing their heads off.
After they helped him clean up, he said to them 'I don't know why you were laughing at me,...you should have seen Mike trying to put the cork back in!'
