UK House Prices -The next bubble waiting to burst ??

Bel - not sure its that great down there although as everywhere some win big time. One of our relations has their own business and over 30 years has done well whilst another has not. They have similar probs to UK although much more landmass of which essentailly the coastal strip is the only place to live. NZ is apparnetly a better place and has more effective landmass for living and crop growth.
As the old adage - the grass is greener but all the West faces the same probs - not competitive and not turning out the scientists and engineers - a sorry story but we're all in decline whilst the East is rising. Intereting to see the effect on gas prices when the China Russia pipeline gets built - these guys are holding all the wests debt (well them, India etc). For every jumper, PC, XMAs cracker coming West a Euro, dollar or sterling goes East. And we have nothing they want accept arms - and we, the US and France make loads of that stuff and as we know it had to be used to allow more to be made.
So jumping ship maybe be a good idea but has the next one got a leaking hull?
