UK House Prices -The next bubble waiting to burst ??
Cheltspy - Mon, 26 Dec 05 :
What is interesting about Japan is that its wealth has been generated by a tangible industrial sector, even though much of the manufacturing sector has moved to other parts of the world, the wealth has been returned to the country. Unlike the UK, where by for example, Rover didn't move its production to China to gain the wealth, it became so poor to a point it was taken over by a Chinese company.
All I can see in the UK is a huge intangible sector, whose existence is based on goodwill.
But how long will that goodwill last?
