O.K. ,I don't mind being 'outed' here , I too thought that HPI was heading severely southwards in the past year. It hasn't happened ... mainly due to no major hikes in interest rates ( although I never though that would happen )
We are in mild deflationary times , with the prospect of lower interest rates next year ...... so the key to it all I think , will be how employment rates pan out. p.s. yes good on you Bahtat , making money in property , when I wouldn't have touched it with a bargepole !!
