Wilson Bowden reservations 'up significantly'

Reservations for house builder Wilson Bowden have "picked up significantly" in the last 11 weeks and the company expects to enter the New Year with a stronger than average forward order book.
Cancellation rates in the last 11 weeks are running at less than 75pc of last year’s level which demonstrated "a marked change in buyer confidence", according to the company’s year end trading statement.
Over the entire second half there was a modest uplift in demand which Wilson Bowden used to push margins slightly higher than in the first six months of the year.
