I do like posters who come on here, give an example of an area, and then speak with authority about every single property in that large area.

A couple of weeks ago no house priced above 400k had sold in Hounslow in the last two years, today's it's North Essex that hasn't seen a single 4 bed detached house sell recently.

Next week it'll be maisonettes on the moon that aren't selling.......

Tanners, errr.........I'll refresh your memory

Area concerned was Heston in the London Borough of Hounslow, and in the 2 weeks since that post, still no houses above 400k have been sold.

I'll also point out, again, that the Estate agent of choice in the area, no longer wastes their time on properties over 400K. These properties, most of which had been with said agency, are now sitting unsold with 'one man job(no hope of a realistic price)' agencies.

If...................errrrr I lived on the moon and there was a property market, I'd comment on it.
