UK House Prices -The next bubble waiting to burst ??
Rebtif10 - Tue, 20 Dec 05 :
If you read the reports from Countrywide and one of hte housebuilders who reported last week they have both said volumes were down to 30 year lows and the housebuilder's profit increased by 10% due to 'control of building costs'.
Well, if sales are down that amount, there is pressure on the prices.
Also, GB pulling SIP/tax break on property in pensions schemes will not show this quarter, in fact this might have had some of the effect on increase in mortgage lending etc. prior to its proposed introduction in April - which is not now taking place.
Next three months will be very interesting as ones who no longer proceed with their second property off plan try to dispose of them before completion.
Don't believe all that is written. LGB is a good example of that and what a good cover up for all the so called professionals who carried out audits, exhaustive due diligence etc.
