Mike, it's not selective memory syndrome - you've just confirmed what I posted!

It's not really a case of whether I like it or not (I don't own any property in Sussex!), but it's not what I'm hearing or seeing, and it certainly isn't the case where I am in Surrey that falls of 10 - 20% have occurred.

I know of several who bought in the last six months, who have paid within 2.5% of the offer, and rec'd likewise for their own properties.

If you're buying a brand new flat, maybe it is a buyers market, but if want a deecnt home in a good area, then from my experience there is a dearth of available property on the market.
