UK Nov mortgage lending highest since July 2004 - BBA
LONDON (AFX) - Mortgage lending in the UK picked up in November, reaching
levels not seen since July last year, signalling a revival in the property
market, a key survey showed today.
The British Bankers' Association said net mortgage lending in November rose
by 5.1 bln stg, up from the 4.3 bln recorded in October and the average 4.4 bln
over the previous six months.
