UK House Prices -The next bubble waiting to burst ??

tanners - Wed, 14 Dec 05 :

Right then, I've seen plenty of posts on here advising Tom to wait a few years and buy 30%/40% or even 50% cheaper.

But how in reality do so called price crashes actually materialise?

The last so called crash, from my experience/memory wasn't a crash at all, but more of a slump that lasted in my area for probably 7/8 years and in other areas,(Northern Monkey land) possibly longer.

So what are people's expectations/thoughts.....5% a year for 6 years, 30% next year and then stagnate/ fall slowly for another 5 years?

Be interested to hear some views....
