UK House Prices -The next bubble waiting to burst ??

AEOM, Lol, a pretty true scenario - however......

.....the old school Stans/Asians aint stupid, they soon sussed that you don't get rich workin for someone else, and they also sussed that you're better keepin it (cash) in the family than using banks.

Look at the typical English family......retired parents with hefty savings (earning minimal interest), offspring in debt (paying crippling interest).

The Asian community took it several steps further, far flung Uncles would stump up the cash for distant nephews to open businesses.......could you imagine the ultra cautious English doing this?

Perhaps now, somewhat begrudgingly, parents are releasing some of their wealth to their kids before they die, but it's a been long time coming, and all that time the banks have been laughing.

I'm not saying it's a cure all, but we could (and should by now) have a learnt a lot from our economically smarter Asian neighbours.

However, the strange irony might be, that many of the young Stans have become seduced by the easy Western culture of drink, casual sex and drugs......and increasingly seem to turn their backs on the businesses their fathers established for the 'chav' lifestyle - it's a funny ole world!
