25 May 2006: The management of European Diamonds plc is delighted to announce
that metallurgical test processing of a small amount of kimberlite from the
Main Pipe, through the existing diamond recovery plant, has produced a 27.7
carat gem quality diamond.
"

Roy Spencer comments: 'This is the first sizeable gem quality diamond to be
recovered by ourselves from either of the kimberlites at Liqhobong. Similar
sized stones were reported in the eighties from the site and this discovery
confirms the potential of this big pipe to produce large diamonds.'
