For what its worth below is a copy of an email i sent to TTP on 1st November in relation to the interim results published that day.
I have received no respone from the company and a further email requesting confirmation the first email had been received and would be actioned also received no response.
It is possible there is a reasonable explanation for the massive discrepancy i could not understand(I may have been using out of date broker info or i may have got something wrong) but some response from the company would have been nice.
Hello
My name is ********** and i was until this morning
a small shareholder in the company.(Total shares held
through my ********* account *******)
Unfortunately after seeing the trading update today i
have had to sell my shareholding as the figures
announced seemed to be far worse than indicated per
the last RNS on the 2nd September.
Per the RNS 2nd September the company said
"there is no material change in the outlook
for the year as a whole"
and
"forms the basis of our
belief that we can meet market expectations for the
full year"
At the time the broker forecasts were for losses of
between 4-6 million for the Group.(For the whole year)
Now we come to todays announcement and the headline is
an improvement in trading with losses of 15.4 million
before tax for the first six months.
However you have also stated
"On this basis, the board expects TTP to be operating
close to breakeven in
the second half, before restructuring provisions."
Presuming the restructuring plans were known about in
September this means that the year end figures will be
approximately 11 million + restructuring costs worse
than indicated on 2nd september despite improved
trading.
I cannot see any reason given or any explanation for
this huge disparity.
As a small shareholder i rely on the RNS announcements
and expect to these to be 100% transparent and as
honest as possible.I feel unless there is something i
have missed then todays announcement is exactly the
opposite with no explanation.
I would be grateful of an explanation.
Thank you for your assistance
