TimTom2 - to my mind, they are actually a reasonable company. Problem, as with so many IP-based companies, is that they would appear to have the typical affliction of an R&D mindset - i.e. always striving for the best possible technical product(s) without so much as a glance at mundane matters like cash control and shareholder returns.
They have shown promise though - until the rather dismal interims. For me the single most worrying sign is the huge increase in R&D expenditure at a time of falling sales and a massive erosion of cash reserves. IMHO not a sign that management have got to grips with things. However, might not be a problem if management signals of impending good times is correct. A huge problem if they are wrong. The path from lab to market is often a tortuous and lengthy one.
