I certainly agree with what you are saying, all the major oceans should have Tsunami early warning systems, remember a Tsunami could hit the UK, so why don't we have a detection system?

Why do you keep talking rubbish? Yes India monitors eartquakes, NO it does not monitor tsunamis, just because a very large earthquake does not mean you will have a tsunami, seismic records can not tell you if a tsunami has developed!
As you seem to think we have better resources than India, why don't we have a tsunami detection system in the UK, the east coast of the UK even has tsunami deposits from a major event that happened 7000 years ago and could happen again but despite all are resources we do not have a tsunami detection system in the UK, so stop preaching to other countries! Yes we do have a seismic monitoring network in the UK ( I helped set it up ) but that does not tell you that a tsunami is about to hit the UK coast, so we are no better than India!
