Vizz, I can agree with the content of your final paragraph and perhaps I should have made it clearer that it is rather early days to decide on the full future of SAW sensors. I was thinking it would take some months to get the concept of a "professional" opinion floated and then comes the slightly more difficult task of finding someone qualified to do the job.
As waggles outlined future is in itself fairly scary/exciting, but based on the company[?]/single view I would think getting a different source would be of interest to us all. I would expect it to be less exciting than the high figures as everyone likes to cover their goolies when predicting the future.[unless they are ramping!!]. Certainly from my forays into sensor world I am getting no hints on an imminent or long term change to SAW based sensors change - that does not mean it is unlikely/impossible and could mean a very well kept secret. Who knows, but Honeywell taking a general licence suggests there is some future.
Why concern myself. Financial planning really, for myself, two children who wish to get on the housing ladder, my friends nephew in the same position.
I quite like the idea of your basket weaving class : ) Must have some good brain power for conversation. It is not stressing me this speculation as I have nothing more pressing to concern me.
For casual browsers - my firm conviction is that this year the share will have at least DOUBLED and slightly better than evens of TREBLING. The only possible reason for it to fail to achieve this would be an AGM announcement putting the income stream lower and back - in my view unlikely. I take this view, and draw great comfort from vizz's second paragraph which really covers the reality of the situation.
Thanks vizz for providing the sounding board - perhaps we should concoct a code for the extreme bagger numbers : ) which might apply by 2011. I have amended my earlier post to be less threatening regard x to equal 0 in future.
