Sofie111 - I remember about three seasons ago when Man U won something like 5 games in overtime. Enormously frustrating for non Man U fans, but I was never really sure if it was actually their indomitable spirit and that old chestnut ‘that’s what Champions are made of’, or just pure luck and I feel rather the same about Chelsea now. Apart from the odd game where we really hit top gear like the two Champions League Barcelona matches we haven’t played consistently well for a long time. Is that because we only play well enough to beat what’s in front of us? that we have a motivation problem in the team? or that Jose is too concerned with not conceding goals rather than scoring them. Probably a little of all three and I think there was certainly an element of luck against Everton and again yesterday. On the other hand we are only 2 points behind in the league, in the semi of the Worthless Cup, in the last 16 of the Champions League and all without a goalkeeper, a right back, problems in central defence and three world class players, Cole, Ballack and Shevchenko, injured or not up to speed. So all in all one has to say that with a little luck the team may be on the verge sweeping all before them, winning the lot etc etc.
TRT on the other hand are, IMHO, a great deal closer to sweeping all before them and just about beyond the stage of needing luck. Like many others on this board I feel the share price is almost bizarre given the raft of news we have had recently. I was beginning to feel that the market would only react appropriately to seeing actual revenue flows but I have this feeling that the underlying news has been so substantial recently that all we need is a little nudge and the share price will really take off.
